PRIVATE & SEMI-PRIVATE COACHING

Tom Clark and Scott Burns provide private and semi-private coaching throughout the summer.  Let us help you build a custom improvement program by focusing not only on ball striking but short game, mental game and course management skills as well.  The Computer Coach and five foot screen in our state of the art studio helps us to isolate the smallest detail of your game.  Take control of your game and benefit from our genuine desire to help you improve.  All packages and pricing can be found  in the Academy section at timberwolfgolf.com or call Tom at 691-6019 for more information.

ADULT GROUP LESSONS

Adult Group Lessons will begin at the Timberwolf Academy the week of June 9th.  These lessons are a cost efficient method to learn about or ensure your address position and swing mechanics are sound.  The lessons are set in a fun and non-intimidating setting.  Daytime or evening lessons are available.  Other topics include equipment, short game, rules and etiquette.  There are two different packages to choose from. 

PAR PACKAGE

Consists of five 1¼ hour lessons.  The lessons are once per week for 5 weeks.  The last lesson is held at Cedar Green to ease the transition from the driving range to the golf course.  The cost is $100.00.

BIRDIE PACKAGE

Twice per week format for 4 weeks.  The lessons are held either Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs for a total of eight 1 hour lessons.  More lesson time offers the opportunity to cover addition topics such as speciality shots, quality practice techniques and the mental game.  The cost is $140.00

FUTURE LINKS JUNIOR CLINICS

Future Links Junior Clinics will take place at various dates during the summer.  The first took place Saturday, May 10^th,  and the next one will be Saturday, June 7th.  These clinics are designed to both introduce young golfers to the game and to develop golf skills with their peers.  Junior participants are divided into ages 4-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 13-18.  Giveaways, treats and clubs if necessary are supplied in a fun and safe environment.  Full swing, chipping, pitching, putting and even sand shots are all covered.  The pre-links(4-6) cost is $65.00.  The cost for the other age groups is $85.00 for the four week program.  Register now.  Space is limited.  Please call Tom Clark at 691-6019.

MID-WEEK JUNIOR CAMPS

Three day golf camps that commence Tues July 1st.  There is a new camp starting each Tuesday throughout the summer.  The camps run from 10:00am - 4:00pm each day with instruction, lunch and golf included. 

These camps have proven to be very popular so please register early to get the week that works best for you.  There is a maximum of 8 juniors per week for plenty of attention.  The time on the course at both Cedar Green and Timberwolf, helps the junior golfer learn about rules, etiquette, club selection and course management.

Sandra Post Receives Another Warm Welcome 

Even with the weather in question again, local golfers turned 

out in droves once again to get some help with their golf games from Canadian golf legend, Sandra Post.  An eight time LPGA tournament champion including the LPGA Championship, Post was on hand for two clinics at 12:00 and 5:00 and also chatted with guests at a Wine & Cheese following each clinic hosted by Timberwolf in the Dining Room.

“It’s been great coming up here the last two years.” said

Post,  “These golfers have such enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, it makes my visits such a pleasure. I'm looking forward to coming back next year.”

As expected, the majority of attendees were women - Post feels she has a better understanding of their needs and can help their games to the best of their abilities.  She has noticed that through feedback she receives from the hundreds of clinics she puts on every year and from her own Golf Academy at Glen Eagle Golf Club in Caledon.  She also has her own brand of golf clubs made by Jazz Golf and is available at Discount Golf Supercentre.  With her involved in every aspect of the design, the clubs are tailored with women in mind and can meet the specific attributes that other clubs do not offer.
